The Best Materials

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel kettles are free from phthalates and bisphenols. Although stainless steel contains small amounts of chromium and nickel, these metals do not easily leach into plain water. Additionally, stainless steel is durable, making it a good long-term investment.

Glass

Glass offers another phthalate and bisphenol-free alternative. While glass is the least toxic option, it is less durable than stainless steel if dropped. However, borosilicate glass can withstand high temperatures without breaking.
